Electrical

Its a full blown REAL HOUSE!!!
All the hard wired electrical is in.
We spent half our day with Ginny picking out where every outlet, fixture and light switch will go.
BEST part of building.  It was so much fun! I think?

Chris and I had our first "Official" house fight! About the placement of light switches for the extras in the kitchen. Gratefully it lasted about 10 seconds and back to the super fun!!

This is a view of the kitchen lights!

Flooring Colors!

Carpet
I finally got a list from the builder of where we go to pick out colors.  We know we want dark comfy carpet and that was a super easy choice and decided within 10 min of getting to Kay Riley.
Now if only all of the other colors were that easy to pick out.

It looks alittle different in each pic. but the first one looks most like what I have.

Wood Floor

I wish I could say that all of our selections were that easy.  Wood floor was NOT.
We knew we wanted dark floors and we wanted them strong but that was the most difficult decision!

After looking and many days we opted for this type.  It is a dark wood with some texture.  Knowing our boys and dog we wanted to make sure that the wear and tare wouldn't destroy it.

Tile Selection
We are unsure of what our budget is for tile at this point, but we picked out some basic plain colors at this point and will pick out specifics soon.

Colors: Rock

Since I am in a new job it is pretty much IMPOSSIBLE for me to get any time off during the week.  That part of building a house is NOT EASY!!
Wonderful Chris went to the rock place to pick out everything ALL ON HIS OWN!!!
He was NOT a fan of this process so I received the following pics by text while sitting in training.

We knew we wanted to use dark stucco so we were able to get samples from the builder so we had something to go off.  The dark is the main color and the light is the trim.

Then it was on to picking out rock.  I had played on their website ALOT and picked out a few things I liked, but once seeing them in person, Chris knew they weren't right for us.

ALL THE SAME ROCK!!! ahh pictures dont give stuff a true color. Which made picking TOUGH!

FINAL DECISION!!!

Fridge

In our first house everything came with the house, and we left our appliances (the buyers asked for them and they were paying what we wanted.)
So now we are looking for a fridge.
My sweet hubby loves the best of the best. :) which is why he married me (JK that was a really bad joke) but we have been looking at fridges for years.  We have been dreaming of a fridge we get to pick out!! :)

This is my Favoriate!
It is Whirlpool
Model # WRX735SDBM
It is a 25 cubic ft french door refrigerator.
It has fench doors and 2 drawers at the bottom.
The top one is used with the fridge
it has a seprate place for water and ice, and the ice holder is NOT in the door!!
It is about $1,900-$2,100 est (ive been watching for a bit)

This one is Chris's favorate!
Samsung

Model # RF28HMEDBSR

No real shock here! :)
It is 28 cubic ft french door refidgorator.
It also has the 2 drawers at the bottome.
This only has one place with 2 levers one for ice one for water.
The ice is NOT in the door (YEAH!!)
This one however has a different price tag.  The cheapest I have found is about $2,800 however the average is closer to $3,200
So we will see :(

Light Selection

We are not 100% sure with these lights but we at least have most decided!

Some of these are from fancy places and some are from Lowes or Home Depot.  Ginny said they will install whatever we have so that is good.  That way we can cut corners in like the office and bedrooms and dress up the main rooms.
